Join us for the 21st annual FRESH ART TOUR – explore scenic backroads enjoy the area’ glorious autumn views on a self-guided tour of our home studios & galleries.

Throughout the picturesque villages and countryside of Pepin and Pierce counties, the artists who call this area home welcome you. Come hear their stories and take home a bit of their inspiration.

Grab a snack, pick up a brochure & tour map at any one of the 18 sites, and watch for Fresh Art Tour logo signs along the way. We’ll SEE YOU ON THE TOUR!

23rd Annual Youth Fishing Contest – July 23-26, 2019

Grab your fishing poles and join us for the 23rd Annual Durand Area Youth Fishing Contest. The contest is FREE for kids ages 5 – 18 years old. The contest begins at daybreak on Tuesday, July 23rd and is open through Friday, July 26th at 9:00 PM.
Anglers and their friends/families are invited to celebrate on Saturday with a FREE picnic at the park with the awards presentation to follow.
Registration forms (& official rules) are available at City Hall, Ryan’s Sport Shop and Bodie’s. All participants must register by no later than 6:00 PM on Friday, July 19th.

Spring Fresh Art Tour – June 7-9, 2019

The Fresh Art Spring Tour is a free self-guided journey to the finest studios and galleries in the Lake Pepin and Chippewa River Valleys. Enjoy the season’s roadside wild flowers and breathtaking views as you travel the famous Great River Road and the backroads of western Wisconsin. Arkansaw Creek Park Days – June 14-15, 2019

Volleyball? Arkansaw Idol? Duck Races? Sounds like a good time that can only be found in Arkansaw, WI.
Friday night: co-ed volleyball tournament and live music
Saturday: volleyball tournament resumes, kids’ homemade boat races, face painting and caricatures, parade, Arkansaw Idol, the duck race, live music.

Dog Days of Stockholm

You whole family, including those with fur, is welcome September 22, 2018, 10am-4pm in Stockholm Village Park!
Dog Days of Stockholm is about community affecting positive change – for both humans and animals. People who meet shelter and rescue dogs in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere are more inclined to adopt, and that’s the goal of Dog Days: to help place adoptable dogs into good and loving homes.
